Gold Graduate

As the State of California is developing College/Career Indicators that go beyond classroom academics to measure high schools, DATA is working to enhance their student's resumes by creating the DATA Gold Grad

​

Normal DATA graduate complete

  1. Sophomores: 30 hours Community Service

  2. Juniors: 30 hours Community Service & Junior Mentor Program

  3. Seniors: 60 intern hours, 3 DATA CTE classes, + industry portfolio

    

 

The DATA Gold Grad

In addition to the normal DATA graduation requirements, these graduates will

 

  • 95% Positive Attendance (171/181 days excused)

  • At least 1 Industry Certification 

    • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, or Premier Pro

    • Remote Pilot license 

    • Unity Game Engine

    • Harmony 15

  • 3.0 or higher (unweighted) GPA

  • Grade of an A in Dual Enrollment courses

  • AP/IB exam or SkillsUSA Career Essentials Advanced Credential 

  • Compete at 1 SkillsUSA State event  or SkillsUSA Career Essentials Fundamentals Credential

  • 1 year of a school or community leadership position

  • be recommended by at least 3 DATA teachers.
