DATA 10th and 11th grade students are expected to complete 30 hours of community service during the year. This is designed to build character in assisting their community, gain experience that can be used for job applications and resumes, and practice skills needed during their senior internships.

• Opportunities are often offered to the Academy, but students are responsible for determining their own location to donate their time.

• Community Service should be unpaid and a means of assisting others.

• This does not include babysitting, cleaning their home, or types of household chores.
